 Whit, Klaus, Cordell, Dave and Shannon are back together and have recorded six news songs for their new EP. They have no label, agent or management, they are doing everything themselves.
It's been over 14 years since they last released anything new and Whitfield Crane made an update on the band's official Facebook page stating he appeared on 107.7 The Bone and that a 6 track EP and was mixed and finished.

 Ugly Kid Joe
Their logo was a cartoon embodiment of an “ugly kid” wearing a backward baseball hat and giving the finger. Ugly Kids Joes influences came from the likes of Black Sabbath & AC/DC, they covered a number of their songs.
Ugly Kid Joe formed their own independent label Evilution Records for the release of their next album, after they were dropped by their record label. And they released Motel California at the end of 1996. The album was initially poorly recieved, but it has gained minor cult following in recent times. Ugly Kid Joe disbanded 1997.
